When they ask me why I chose the school as my home and study guide, many answers to my head. However, I think the strongest of all is love.
While it is true, I felt a lot of confusion at the beginning of the program, I was sure that I was looking for more. Only was not very clear on the way. That's where I was sailing with no way but I met the right people who showed me Suhaila and all what I can get with this form of learning.
And when I started with online classes, I realized that I can go much further. I was able to investigate, understand and train my body differently. I could see the love and dedication of my teachers and the whole community. I could feel that I was going to have a different education, which was going to encompass and shed a lot more in me and not just stay in theory and dance steps.
In fact, the words I have left... are too "short" to describe the feelings that have generated me entering and being part of this community of love.
I learned to love myself and my neighbor. To heal myself and set me free. In Suhaila I found a mind and source of inspiration and really her love and her energy feels and shares. I knew about Jamila and her dedication and research about this dance that already had me totally captivated.
I witnessed female power, complicity, tribe. Of the circle and its magic. The magic circle that not all have the power to create. It has been a really lovely and motivating experience. Understand that love, respect, and discipline are important in building a dream. Thanks to my teachers, because I have been able to be stronger and have inspired me to move forward, to believe in myself.
Suhaila, is a guide for me and my desire is to continue my dream of becoming a professional dancer and share with many more women. I want other women to discover these wonders and many compatriots who love this dance, have the opportunity to share this love, respect, discipline and motivation that I feel and learned and learn to release, learned to silence the mind, to work with their Ego and Learn from the heart.
Suhaila came into my life in an important moment of change and growth. I feel at home, as a family and if the program is now in my life, it is for something and this is the path I want to take and share it! I want other women to know ... so go ahead! Share love.
Este es mi post para el concurso de la Escuela Salimpour "summer of love"
entonces, compartiré mi amor.
Cuando me preguntan por qué elegí la escuela Salimpour como
mi casa y guía de estudios, vienen muchas respuestas a mi cabeza. Sin embargo
creo que la más fuerte de todas es el amor.
Si bien es cierto, sentí mucha confusión al inicio a cerca
del programa, estaba segura que estaba buscando mucho más. Solo que no tenía
muy claro el camino. Por ahí que estuve navegando y conocí a las personas
correctas que me mostraron a Suhaila y todo lo que uno puede llegar con esta forma de aprendizaje.
Y al comenzar con las clases online, comprendí que puedo ir
mucho más allá. Pude investigar, entender, y entrenar mi cuerpo de distinta
manera. Pude ver el amor y entrega de mis maestros y de toda la comunidad. Pude
sentir que iba a tener una educación distinta, que iba a abarcar y calar mucho más
en mí y no quedaría solamente en teoría y
unos pasos de danza.
En realidad las palabras me quedan muy cortar para describir los sentimientos que me ha generado entrar y ser parte de esta comunidad de amor.

Aprendí a quererme, a
mí y al prójimo. A sanar. A liberarme. En Suhaila encontré una mentora y
fuente de inspiración y realmente su amor y su energía se siente y se comparte. Es como una gran madre. Conocí sobre Jamila y su dedicación e investigación acerca de esta danza que ya
me tenía totalmente cautivada.
Fui testigo del poder femenino, de la complicidad, de la
tribu. Del círculo y su magia. El circulo mágico que no todas tienen el poder
de crear. Ha sido una experiencia realmente encantadora y motivadora. Entendí que el amor, el respeto y la disciplina son parte importante en la construcción de un sueño. Gracias a mis maestras he podido ser más fuerte y me han inspirado a seguir adelante, a creer en mi.
Suhaila, es una guía para mí y me impulsa a seguir mi sueño de convertirme en una bailarina profesional y a compartir este amor con muchas mujeres mas. Quiero que otras mujeres puedan descubrir estas maravillas y muchas compatriotas que aman esta danaza, tengan la oportunidad de poder compartir este amor, el respeto, la disciplina y la motivación que siento yo y aprendan a soltar, aprendan a silenciar la mente, a trabajar el ego y aprender con el corazón.
Suhaila llego a mi vida en un momento importante de cambio y crecimiento. Me siento en casa, en familia y si el programa está ahora en mi vida, es por algo y este es el camino que quiero tomar y quiero compartirlo! Quiero que otras mujeres lo sepan… así que adelante! #sharethelove
